This reflective concert contains three exceptional pieces of music spanning time and space, across centuries and seas: J. S. Bach’s achingly beautiful Komm Jesu, Komm, Sir James MacMillan’s exquisite Miserere, and John Sheppard’s powerful Media Vita.

In the midst of life, we are in death. Of whom may we seek for succour, but of thee, O Lord.

This matinee concert will be 70 minutes of music to reflect on and restore us as the Spring returns and we look to Easter. A short interval will provide a pause between the two halves.
