MISERERE – MACMILLAN
The Miserere by James MacMillan must be one the most extraordinary pieces of choral music ever composed. Haunting, mesmerizing, exciting, unsettling – few composers have set this text with such skill.
One day soon we will record the entire 12-minute piece, but for now, enjoy this excerpt: the unspeakably beautiful closing section, “Tunc acceptabis”.

We weren’t intending to record this! But it was sounding so incredible in rehearsal that I hit ‘record’ on the kit that happened already to be set up for Media Vita! Very glad I did.
